Mitchell has inherited an old digital camera that was no longer in use. He loves taking pictures. I recently cleared his memory card and put the pictures on the computer. There were like 800 of them, most of them blurry shots of the ceiling fan, and what I think is the inside of his mouth. There were also lots of pictures of Lego creations and one of a tow truck picking up the neighbor's car. There are also lots of self-portraits. These are my favorite. He's such a reserved little kid, it cracks me up to see the goof ball things he comes up with when only the camera is watching.
He also likes taking pictures of his brothers.
He's providing us with excellent things to show future girls he may date. I'm sure his 16 year old self will not be amused.

I think that's a good idea - to give a camera to a child and look at the world through his eyes. Good work! (and cute boys)
