Weather Report

I know, how lame, blogging about the weather! Keep in mind that I'm coming from Arizona, where it is currently in the 100s. I no longer have the expectations of reasonable weather that all you Idahoans may have. My mind and body expect it to be 100-120 degrees starting in May and ending in October. So the fact that it's June, and it's in the high seventies with a lovely breeze, is just so refreshing to me. I know, I know, here I have to deal with humidity. We had our first little taste of it on Saturday, and yes, I felt kind of yucky and damp, but I've felt worse. On Saturday we went to Arlington, which I really enjoyed, you know me and cemetaries. We were kinda warm and sweaty as we hiked up a few hills, but there was a lovely cool breeze to relieve us. In Arizona we don't have cool breezes, we have stifling gusts of hot air. So I know that hotter weather and more intense humidity are in my future, but for now, I intend to enjoy my sunshine and cool breezes.

I like your weather reporting. It sounds like you are having the same weather as us the past week, but of course you know that's a departure from regular Junes in Boise. For the first time in my 27 years, it was too cold to swim at the Nat on its opening day.
