We are finally starting to come out of summer, and we're entering the nicest time of the year around these parts. We're finally getting some use out of the yard. It is so nice to look out the window and see some colors. No, they're not the beautiful fall colors that I miss SO much, but they're color! And in this crazy desert they are food for the soul.

Beautiful. We get those little teeny red, yellow, and orange ones here too. We don't get any leaves in those colors though; I've stooped as low as buying silk ones from the hobby store--shameful, I know.
Ooo those are pretty. It's been kind of cold here. I'm a tiny bit jealous.
See? Now you are one up on us! You know it goes from lovely autumn to "go out 15 minutes early to warm up the car" after Halloween...
p.s. It's thursday tomorrow and I HAVE to get my act together and mail you some fabric!!!!
Are those in your yard? If so you have some serious skills!
