This past weekend we travelled to Phoenix, braving a few hours in the car with two children who hate their car seats. Mitchell can be kept happy with a movie and snacks. Sam can not be reasoned with, and spent most of the car ride screaming hysterically. Anyway, Lee's little sister Rachel got married in the Mesa Temple. As always, it was good to see family. Mitchell was a little bummed that Nana had so much to do as the mother of the bride. Spoiled little thing expects attention all the time. The ceremony was nice. I always like going to temple weddings. Mitchell hung out with Uncle Matthew while we were in the the temple. I believe they visited Dairy Queen. Sam stayed with Lee's grandma and aunt and was profusely spoiled in Spanish. The reception was good times. Mitchell was fairly worked up, the cupcake someone gave him can't have helped. I caught him sneaking away from the cake table with a rather large slice of wedding cake as well. Luckily for all of us it was confiscated. We enjoyed a little mariachi music and some Navajo tacos, in honor of the bride's kooky ethnic heritage. Lee and I danced, for what I believe was the second time ever. We're not big dancers. All in all, good times were had by all. So, Uncle Jordan, welcome to the family! And congrats guys!
