The way it is

I believe that those who are too young to cook, or speak for that matter, are not allowed to be opinionated about the food they are served. This means that when I spend my valuable time making a lovely dinner Mitchell is not allowed to take one bite, remove it from his mouth, and fling it against the sliding glass door. Sadly, there seems to be nothing I can do about it.

It happens. The best part is when I make a somewhat delicious gluten-free meal that the ENTIRE family can enjoy, only to have GRACE turn her allergic nose up at it. I swear next time Tyler and I are stuck eating a whole pan of gluten-free lasagna ourselves, I'm going to lose it!

I remember my first HOMEMADE Spaghetti Sauce that took hours to make (the recipe had you simmer the sauce all day to get flavors in perfect combination). Well, my kids decided tomatoe sauce over spaghetti pasta tasted better. Never used that recipe again !!!
