I am armed! My husband has decided that I need a bit of protection when he's gone. So he recently surprised me with a stun gun, romantic isn't it? At first I just laughed at him, but I have to say, I'm beginning to like it. I have to say it makes me feel good to know that if I were to become a damsel in distress, I could do some damage. Now, if I could just convince Lee that it's not a good idea to test it out on himself. He's apparently curious about how it feels. One of these days he may irritate me enough that he'll find out.
On a totally unrelated note, I watched Pride and Prejudice the other day. I was reminded of how much I like that movie. I really hate to say it, but I almost like it better than the book in some ways. Don't get me wrong, it is one of my very favorite books, and movies are NEVER better than the book, but I like this version. I don't know, it's like they just took all the good parts and cut out the somewhat boring ones. And I've always been a sucker for Mr. Darcy.
