Last week we snuck out in the morning for a little desert hiking. Sam spent most of his time falling over, and Mitchell had an unfortunate run in with a cactus. Despite some small mishaps, it was a nice short hike. We're looking forward to getting out more as the weather cools off. Given the fact that all three boys around here seem to really like being outside, I think I'm going to have to become more outdoorsy. I don't mind an easy hike, and I don't mind tagging along for a bit of fishing if I can bring a book and give the fishing lures funny names, but camping is still outside the range of things I would choose to do. I'll work on it.

I'm glad you guys can finally get outside and enjoy the weather. I don't know what I'd do if I had to keep my kids inside because it was too hot. I'd go crazy (and so would they)! I love little Mitchell's face in that last picture. Oh the pain!
Oh that face. Poor guy. Looks like fun. :)
poor mitchell! his sad face in the last picture broke my heart.
