What did people do before the internet?

I suspect they probably got a lot more housework done in a given day than I do. A little over a week ago our computer had some sort of a meltdown. It refused to work. I'm gonna guess it was some sort of virus. Since we live in this nowhere little town we had to take it out of town to be fixed. So in the last week we've done some computer-related travelling. Including one fruitless trip where we waited around all day for a computer that never appeared, said trip also included Mitchell's first car throwing up episode. Altogether a fun trip. But,after many trips to Yuma and much waiting and wondering, we are finally back online. It's a little sad how many times a day I thought, 'oh,I'll look that up online' or 'hey, let's check that blog', and then was brought back to the reality of my situation. I don't want to say I depend on it, but this computer is a connection to the world. It's one of my main methods for keeping in touch with friends and family and adults in general. Thank goodness it's back! So, nerds of Yuma, you took your sweet time doing it, but thank you for fixing my computer.

Hey glad you're back among the living. It will be good to have you and Mitchell in Boise for a couple of weeks!! We have his Easter basket waiting for him with Pepsis and a bunch of candy. (Dad wanted me to say that)

Bummer about the car throw up episode. And the broken computer. It is amazing to me how quickly I went from barely using a computer to NEEDING the internet multiple times everyday.
