Finally getting around to it

Mande tagged me a few days ago, and I've got some time this fine evening, so here I go. This tag is about dear little Lee.

1. Where did we meet?
In Yuma of all places. It was fate, that's the only logical explanation. After I graduated from BYU I applied for teaching jobs all over this earth. Yuma was the only place willing to hire me. And there, at a single adult fireside, I met Lee. His suave opening line was something along the lines of, "So your last name is Poole?" He didn't bother to say that his was Pooley, thus making it an interesting conversation, instead I believe I rolled my eyes and walked away. A few weeks later we hung out at a friend's house and I got to know him, and liked what I found out. He asked me out a few days later, and we were kind of inseparable after that.

2. How long did we date? Umm...I don't remember. About a year and a half?

3. How long have you been married? Almost 4 years.

4. What does he do that surprises you? I think to most of the world he puts forward a pretty serious, laid-back, responsible face. I'm so glad that I get to be the one that sees his goofy side. Oh yeah, and that he is a TOTAL sucker for puppies. He is ridiculously in love with them.

5. What is your favorite feature of his? Hmm...What to choose? I really like his hands, I think they are very nice looking. I also like his face, cuz it's his, and I like to look at it:).

6. What is your favorite quality of his? He is a good provider,that's important to me. Not money, just someone who will work hard and do their job the best they can. He is also considerate of my wants and needs.

7. Does he have a nickname for you? Beautiful.

8. What is his favorite color? Okay, so no idea! Does that make me a bad wife? Umm...green?

9. What is his favorite food? That has the potential to be a long list I think. Let's say steak, shrimp, crab legs at the Belagio, and anything his Grandma makes.

10. What is his favorite sport? Probably football, but he doesn't get to watch it much.

11. When and where was your first kiss? A few weeks after our first date, in my apartment.

12. Favorite thing to do as a couple? We just like hanging out. He is one of the few people I can spend all day with and not be tired of. Every Sunday evening we play board games and eat brownies and he makes fun of me because I always lose. Nothing super exciting I guess, just time together.

13. Does he have a hidden talent? He makes some tasty scrambled eggs. He can also memorize the dialog of an entire movie after watching it once.

14. How old is he? 28

15. Who said "I love you" first? That is the subject of much debate. Technically I did, but I was forced :)

16. What is his favorite type of music? Pretty eclectic, some country, some rock and roll, some alternative.

17. What do you admire most about him?
He is a very good father and just genuinely loves spending time with Mitchell. He's good at his job. He makes me laugh. He's just a great guy. The perfect one for me!

18. Do you think he will read this? Yes, he always reads my blog.
