Saturday's Easter egg hunt was a low key affair. Everyone had all sorts of fun finding eggs. The older two were very sweet about making sure everyone got a fair share of eggs. Once the eggs were found they handled their haul in their own special ways. Mitchell sorted the eggs by size and by content. I'm not sure he ate any of the candy. Sam looked through his eggs and exclaimed over the different varieties of candy and sampled a few. Luke opened every egg and shoveled candy in as fast as he could get the Starburst wrappers off. I couldn't say how much he put away, but it was impressive to watch him go. He kinda looks like Gollum in this picture doesn't he? Scary.
Sunday was Lee's birthday, so we had a little birthday celebration for him. Luckily for me he didn't want a cake, just a cherry pie. I don't make pie, so I got off easy thanks to the grocery store. He's mostly an old man now. He's got a few gray hairs that he's not happy about. I have a hard time being sympathetic since I have a head full of them.

Glad you guys had fun with your hunt. It's funny to hear about how different each of their personalities are. At least there was no broken glass involved!
