Halloween

The night of the pumpkin patch Mitchell started complaining about having a sore throat. Turns out he'd contracted The Plague somewhere, and consequently spent the next few days miserable and on medication. His horrible disease caused him to miss Trunk or Treating at church, saying his part in his first ever Primary program, and the Halloween party at preschool. What a weekend to get sick. Lee and I felt so bad for him. He's been looking forward to Halloween for so long, and then he missed it! He handled it pretty well, better than we did I think. He did get to do some pumpkin carving, which he enjoyed. Sam wasn't as impressed with the pumpkin carving process. For a kid that is constantly creating messes, he sure hates things that are 'messy'. Last night Mitchell was feeling okay so Lee took the older boys out for a little trick or treating. They didn't last long, but they had a lot of fun and were pretty impressed with all their candy. Im looking forward to being bothered with requests for candy for the next forever.

Did you make those???! I thought I couldn't be more impressed than with the angry birds, but WOW! So funny. And those boys of yours are beyond adorable. I think they look like brothers but all have their own "look" for sure.

I'm sorry to hear that Mitchell had been so sick - that's really too bad! I am glad that he got to do a little trick-or-treating. And you know what you can do about getting rid of that candy (besides you and Lee eating it all)as I am sure you recall what I used to do about that!
