Recently my mom braved the local airport, where they're known to cancel flights without cause and without telling the passengers, to come visit us. Her luggage didn't make it until well after she did, but at least she arrived safely. It was nice to hang out and talk, and the boys enjoyed having her here. She left me with some ear plugs to keep the noise around here at a reasonable level. While she was here we took a trip over to San Diego to see Ben and LaRee in their fancy new Southern California life. Sam was happy to see his idol again. We got some good Mexican food and toured the Midway. Thanks everyone for a fun time! And mom, thanks for the earplugs.

I just love that last picture. It's so All American with those 3 boys, blue, and red, and the ship- you're living the dream Mama!
Cute!
Your little family is so cute!
Your boys are SO ADORABLE. And this post made me miss my beloved san diego pretty bad. Im glad you got to eat some good mexican food. Its nothing but taco bell round these parts.
You are all adorable! I'm so glad your mom was able to come for a visits. And thanks so much for the birthday email! I'm touched that you still remember after all these years. :)
It was fun to come down for a visit - and I'm glad you're taking advantage of the ear plugs. Don't worry, soon you will be old like me and you won't need ear plugs because you can't hear anymore anyway. Have a good week!
