Good news/Bad news

So the good news is Mitchell and Sam are finally getting really good at playing with each other. True, there is no shortage of bickering and occasional tears, but they are getting to be pretty good friends. They love to wrestle and tackle and chase and Sam follows Mitchell around and repeats everything he says. The bad news, they get into all sorts of trouble together that they would never get in seperately. They seem to egg each other on. Apart, they are mild mannered, fairly quiet, and obedient. Together, they tear through the house screaming, jump off couches onto each other, don't hear a word I say, and often find themselves covered in mud. Everyday, at least a dozen times a day, I wish for a basement to lock them in. Just a place to contain the madness. I'm torn, it's fun to watch them play together and hear them laugh but, oh the noise! And of course, someone always ends up hurt or mad. I can only imagine how crazy this place will be when Luke is big enough to join the fun.

Some pics of recent shenanigans.

Proof that they can sometimes sit still:

What handsome boys you've made!! And thank goodness they are loud and noisy sometimes- only serial killers and mimes are silent with those "looks" they've surely inherited from you... :)

It's good to see they are having fun. It sounds like they are doing what they were doing the last day I was with them when you guys took Luke to the doctor - they were a little "wild" that day as well - just remember you would rather have them doing that than in the hospital with some serious, life-threatening disease - at least that thought helped me to keep my perspective when I was going through similar things. I just showed Ben the Plants v. Zombies on my I Touch that Mitchell was playing when I was down there - I think he's hooked! The boys look cute - just hold on to your sanity!
