I've been in a bit of a blogging slump lately. I just haven't been inspired to write about anything. I'm sure some interesting holiday posts will be coming up, but lately things are just pretty regular.
Mitchell has picked up a funny little habit. And there can be no doubt that he picked it up from me. When he wants something, let's say, to watch George, and he gets told no, he lets out this big, long sigh. Like we've disappointed him horribly.
ME: 'No Mitchell, you can't have any candy'
Mitchell: 'Siiiiggggghhh'
Me: 'Sorry Mitchell, the apple is all gone.'
Mitchell: 'Siiiiigggghhhh'.
Poor thing is pretty young to be so disappointed by life. It's one of those funny little things that we'd love to get on video camera. However, the video camera has to stay hidden at our house. The second he sees it he immediately stops whatever he's doing and demands to watch all the videos on it. And he does not ask politely, he gets really mad if you don't let him. So lately, we just pretend we don't have a video camera. So much for remembering Mitchell's childhood.
P.S. I know you all lay awake nights wondering if Mitchell's eyebrow has grown back. NO. No, it hasn't.

Well finally. I've been ready to send out search and rescue to your house, afraid that when they got there they would find you and Mitchell running like feral children, being cared for by Anja...
Since it's been so long since you enjoyed a social life, I was wondering if you'd like me to hire you a translator who would interpretive dance the words that you are no longer able to communicate with when you are here visiting. Helpful for you, entertaining for me.
And you have no idea how I have laughed at this eyebrow-less Little Kelsey silently going through your house, "giving looks", demanding to show you things (or watch all your videos), and constantly SIIIIGGGHHHING over his sorry world.
As you know, in the past I have cautioned you to space your kids nicely...now I say, hurry up and get on a sibling for this kid before permanent adult damage is done to him! He needs a friend!
That's a cute picture of Mitchell smirking with Santa. :) That's so weird about eyebrows not growing back-I've never heard that before! Have a great Christmas!
don't worry, it will grow back. i wonder if they make fake eyebrows...just in case.
He he you could start saving his hair clippings to glue on later. It's gotta grow back. Finally a post. Thank you! I would have been tickled pink had you only posted about not posting but this is even better. I absolutely can not wait to see him sigh like that. I insist you disappoint him when I'm around so I can see this adorable act.
