I don't know if I should be proud or horrified but, I think my son has a bright future as the drummer for a punk rock band. His absolute favorite thing is Uncle Kevin's drumset. Whenever we visit the grandparents he heads straight for it, and I think he would sit there drumming the whole time we were there if any of us had the patience or desire to sit there with him and listen to it. This video is old, so his 'skills' have developed since then. He insists on having both drumsticks and he gets irritated and has to adjust them if they are not properly placed in his hands. He plays all the drums and cymbols, complete with dramatic pauses for musical effect. He got his own set of drumsticks for his birthday and he's delighted whenever he's allowed to play with them. I realize that a little boy with drumsticks could be hazardous to my new house, but for the most part he's good and drums on the floor or mixing bowls. He does, however, often get his drumsticks confiscated for trying to drum on me.

He's a man's man, this Lil Mitch. Although he might need to change his name to more tough sounding nickname if he wants to be a true punk rock drummer. Can't wait to see his skills in person during your GREAT WEDDING TOUR OF 2008. How insane! But we're excited to have you two visit!
I've said this before & I'll say it again, he's such a cutie. And already so skillful at the drums.
i was inspired by this video, and got eli behind some drums, which in turn inspired me, and now i am going to buy those drums. so thanks, for putting us in the poorhouse.
