Here we are enjoying the local Veteran's Day parade. Good times. Look, we're wearing jackets and hats! Granted, it's only in the morning, because by afternoon it's in the 70s, but at least for part of the day it's chilly! It seems I've been in Arizona too long. This was the first fall since I've been here that wasn't totally depressing. I was able to light fall candles and bake lots of pumpkin things and mostly ignore the hot weather outside. Usually this time of year I get in a bit of a funk. The weather doesn't feel how my body and mind feel it should be. Putting up Halloween decorations in 103 degree weather is just wrong. I guess I'm just used to it now. It's just a matter of time and I'll be like my sister in law who had a hard time believing that grass can actually be green.

The snow hat kills me! Arizona!!
We're almost the same over here, 'cold' in the morning and then warm again. I want believe it was 103 in October though! That is crazy!
Can't...
Hmmmm - I think you picked up your fall time funk from me - I'm the same way. So, I guess you can't blame it on hot fall weather - it's cold and colorful up here and I still find it to be my low time of the year. I am glad that you have fared better this year and it's good to see you out supporting the local community in your winter wear. Happy Birthday tomorrow!
Like I already mentioned to you, I love the fact you guys are ready for the coldest weather possible and snow. Desert people...
