It's so crazy to think that a year ago right now I was in a mad dash for the hospital, speeding across Arizona on my way to a very speedy, epidural-free birth. We love having Sam in our family. He's a goofy, opinionated little mama's boy. He loves to smile, 'talk' on the phone, climb everything, and eat cheese. He hates to look at books, ride in his carseat,and sleep anywhere but his own bed. We're loving getting to know his little personality and can't wait for all the years to come. Happy Birthday Sam!

Happy Birthday Uncle Sam! Oh wait that usually has a negative connotation. As long as he doesn't collect taxes from us that nickname should be fine. Okay seriously where did you get the bow tie?

What a cute guy. I still can't believe how much he looks like Mitchell. I hope Sam had a happy birthday and I hope this next year is even better than the last (and that he eventually learns to like books!).
